Currently Loving

Things I'm currently loving:

1. This Valentino dress. This is one of those loud pieces that I fall head over heels with that most women just don't understand. But, look at it! I faint.

2. This photo I took at a family gathering last weekend. I'm in love with it. There is something about brand new baby skin against hard working, older, or tattooed skin that just gets me.

3. This bracelet from Mickey's Girl. The one in the photo is unavailable, but there is a similar one with a wing charm that I like as well.

4. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I've wanted to read this book since before it was released! I finally caved and ordered it. I'm only a few chapters in, but I love it already!

5. And, finally, Miley's new hair cut. Oh, the drama. The girl looks awesome. I'm not just saying that because my hair looked exactly like this six months ago, by the way.

Also,

  • Taylor Swift's new single. I've listened to this song way too much already.
  • This post on Vegan Housewives on eating Vegan at Disney.
  • I watched Being Elmo on Netflix and already want to watch it over.

Hot Air Balloon Festival

Hot Air Balloon Festival

Hot Air Balloon Festival by bitty603 featuring a bow belt

In honor of mine and Christopher's 4:30AM wake up call to see the hot air balloons lift off this morning, I made up a cute outfit inspired by the festival. We had a family get together at my aunts house to see the balloons in the sky last night and because of a thunder storm, they never got off the ground. So, an early morning viewing it was! I got some gorgeous photos in the morning light so my feelings were not hurt. Hot air balloons are so whimsical, colorful, and serene. I find myself obsessed with lots of simple things and I've got to say, if I weren't already - i'm officially fascinated and infatuated!

Playing Dress Up

A few weeks ago, I pulled out my tripod and remote and went to town with my closet. I have so many dresses that hardly get worn. Office job life really interferes with my clothing options...and I'm even daring about what I wear to work! The first dress is handmade vintage. When I brought it home, by mom thought I was nuts because of the funky color and the fact that it was about a size 14 and I'm generally a size 4. I couldn't leave it at the store, though! I had a friend take it in but I haven't worn it out yet.
