Thinking about change. I recently left one of my part time jobs and picked up a few more hours at my other. At least for the next couple of months, I'm left with a four day work week. Scary, because I am a fan of my savings account, and also exciting. The possibility of having time to work on other things is nice. I could paint more, work on my Etsy shop, take a photography class, volunteer...
Wishing Christopher and I could build a home from the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company. I dream of building one of these far back on my parents land. Maybe one day... It's certainly nice to think about!
Watching Gilmore Girls. Yep - still! I'm powering through those seasons like it's my job, though. Especially since I'm still not up to 100% since I got sick.
Listening to nothing, really. Music has taken a back burner. Even in my car, I've been listening to whatever is on the radio. My mind is so full of thoughts I can't concentrate on anything else.
Loving my dog, Pitou. He's getting up there in age and has been sick and worrying about him has been giving me major anxiety. I love him always, but seeing your best friend under the weather and wondering if this is going to be the end really opens your eyes up to it.
Looking forward to Thanksgiving! Christopher and I are house/pet sitting and we get to go home on Thanksgiving morning. I can't wait to be back at home with Pitou. My mom is doing a great job taking care of him, but I want to be there to help with getting him to take his meds and feeding him warm liquids. We've also been giving him steams to help clear up his nose. Poor baby.

High Fashion Spotlight - Oscar De La Renta
Oscar De La Renta by bitty603 featuring a boat neck dress
High Fashion Spotlight is my way of day dreaming of the clothes I would wear if I were rich and famous...or even had a place to wear these beautiful designs. In the end, clothing is art and it should be enjoyed by the masses!
De La Renta became huge in the 1960s when Jackie O. became a fan of his designs. His shining stars are the red carpet gowns - my favorites. He's known for his ornate embroidery, perfect tailoring, and floral designs. Obviously, from reading my past posts, you know that what gets me is the embroidery. Detailing is what gives a piece real quality in my eyes. I just about died over that red dress!

My newest BFF
My tissue box. Hot tea is also on my good side this week. My grandmothers parting gift from her visit was a nasty cold. I've been in bed for too long. Tea, tissues, and wishing someone would come change my Gilmore Girls disks for me. I swear I stare at the blue screen when a disk is done for an hour before I gain the energy to get up and put the next one on.
I will see you all once this plague releases me from it's grip.

Currently Loving
- These heels from Shabby Apple. Too bad I would need lessons to walk in them.
- This DIY for mini hot air balloons! I'm dying to make these and create a mobile.
- These hedgehog measuring cups from Anthropologie!
- This vintage circus outfit has left me with heart eyes. (Original source, anyone?)
- This beautiful print of hot air balloons in Paris from Eye Poetry Photography's Etsy.
- This lavender hair color! I need this!
- I'm so inspired by this beautiful artwork on book pages.
An Open Letter to Ann Coulter. Hopefully will make you think twice before using the "r" word out of context...or at all.
How to check to see if a mirror is a two-way. The first time I tested this out, it was one!
This ridiculous video of a hip hop/Disney mash up.
